Which is the best donations plugin for WordPress?

GiveWP has proven to be the most popular WordPress plugin for collecting donations, with over 100,000 users worldwide. It has more features than all other plugins combined, but it is not a bloated tool because most of the functionality comes via extensions that you can install only when you need them.

GiveWP is our top choice! A simple alternative to receiving donations via PayPal is this plugin. It does very little, but you need everything for a simple one-time campaign.

The success of any fundraising campaign depends on many factors. One area where you can reduce uncertainty is how easily donors can contribute. Online contribution is always possible through a combination of Forms and payment plugins. But for a website for which fundraising is the main or important activity, it may be wiser to go with a donation plugin to achieve the campaign’s overall objective more efficiently.

You state that Give makes its money from Plug ins only.
However the only way you can get it out of test mode and into active working is to purchase an expensive annual subscription.
