FRIDAY NIGHT PROJECT

Fowey CATS, together with local Police and part funded by the Proceeds of Crime Act, have set up a new initiative for young people in the Fowey area.

Friday Night Project has been designed to enable young people to develop new skills.

The Scheme, which was launched at the Fowey Sports Hub wants to involve youngsters who might otherwise be bored and on the streets. A series of activities (chosen by the young people) are run, with a survey taking place to discover which activities are most appropriate.

Recent feedback suggests that regular Friday Night Project participants are between 10-14 years old. Football is proving a very popular activity at present with group size often reaching 20 participants.

Can you help support / assist Fowey CATS?
