CATS Sports Diversionary

CATS Sports Diversionary schemes like Street Paddler and Urban Surf have been developed in response to the need to get young people off of the streets and into sport. CATS Sports Diversionary schemes are not schemes designed to reward those kids who cause trouble, allowing them to get something for free – the schemes go deeper than that!
CATS Sports Diversionary schemes include long term individual development for the young people participating and meet specific outcomes for improving the lives and the communities of the areas they are run in.

Instead, they hang around, bored and can often get into trouble as a result. CATS Sports Diversionary schemes are designed to engage with young people and divert them away from negative behaviour, such as anti-social behaviour
CATS’ Street Paddler and Urban Surf Sports Diversionary schemes have both been awarded with
CATS has also run successful Sports Diversionary schemes using Basketball and Climbing as the sporting activity – we will consider any sport that we think will fit the successful model of a CATS Sports Diversionary scheme!
